The collaboration between The Blaxound and mirror converges in the deep admiration of these two artists for the most classic Soul and Funk, but at the same time, with the desire and the idea of renewing this genre.
Being faithful to the original analog sound of the recordings of the late 60s and early 70s, they propose a revision of it singing in Spanish, a very little traveled terrain, and providing more personal lyrics, outside the heteropatriarchal stereotypes that used to be found in the lyrics of this musical style in the 60s.
